DSL internet service

Somebody at the Hard Copy board mentioned that a Bellsouth employee said DSL internet service will be available all over the area by the end of the year.

I went to the Bellsouth site and had an online chat with a customer service rep.

Yes, it's true. BS DSL will be available all over the place by the end of 2007.

Yippee!

This is great news. Isn't there cable service available? Usually, in the areas where there is no DSL, there is cable.

No cable internet, to my knowledge. At least, not in the outlying areas.

I used to have them in my area. They are very expensive and the speed is inconsistent. I switched over to a REAL high speed internet service provider at a fraction of the cost. I never had problems with their business DSL in New York. They also offer other broadband services. Here is their site if anyone is interested: http://maximumdsl.com

I hope that high speed internet will be available everywhere in the near future. http://t1-t3-dsl.com
